MINICHAMPS (WAP 020 024) Porsche 356.001 1948 silver

It is the first legendary Porsche built, using components and engine Volkswagen, in the wooden shacks of Gmünd in Carinthia (Austria) in 1948. On 11 July 1948, when it first appeared in a race, the Porsche n. 1 earned its class victory with Herbert Kaes, Porsche's cousin, in the "Rund um den Hofgarten" in Innsbruck. There's only a car left, now housed at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. The MINICHAMPS model is a promotional for sale in Porsche showrooms and is part of the set "HERITAGE SET n. 1" (WAP 433066133 SET 1).
