One of the most important cars produced by Porsche, the first series of the 911 Turbo was equipped with a 2,994 cm³ engine that developed 260 hp. Produced to compete with the Italian sports cars of great class, it had a good success of sales with 2,880 produced cars. It was equipped with extra large tires, flared fenders and a big distinctive rear spoiler.
