It is the first model of the 100 series with the suspension made by means of a flat metal blade.
The Solido model has 3 variants:
- 1st version: light grey baseplate, wheel rims type 1 (metal with neckline), tires type 1 (rubber with knurled tire tread) and steering wheel type 1 (2-spoke, red or green, placed on a metal shaft). The box is type 2 (red with black drawings by Jean Blanche and absence of the reference). Production: 1959.
Colours of the 1st version: very light blue with dull black soft top and white seats, light yellow beige with black soft top and white seats (rare), white, deep yellow with black soft top and white seats, light grey with black soft top and white seats, olive green.
- 2nd version: light grey baseplate, wheel rims type 1 (metal with neckline), tires type 2 (rubber with round section and wheel rims type 1) and steering wheel type 1 (2-spoke, red or green, placed on a metal shaft). The box is type 2 (red with black drawings by Jean Blanche and absence of the reference). Production: 1960.
Colours of the 2nd version: bright light blue with dull black soft top and red seats, yellow with dull black soft top and red seats.
- 3rd version (pictured): light grey baseplate, wheel rims type 1 (metal with neckline), tires type 2 (rubber with round section and wheel rims type 1) and steering wheel type 2 (3-spoke red, placed on a plastic shaft). The box is type 3 (various colors depending on the model, drawing by the French artist Jean Blanche and reference on the tabs). Production: 1961.
Colours of the 3rd version: light blue with black soft top and white seats, sky blue with dull black soft top and white seats, bright light blue with black soft top and white seats, bluish white with black soft top and red seats (rare).
