- 1st version: light grey chassis, wheel rims type 1 (metal with neckline), tires type 1 (rubber knurled tires), pilot type 1 (without arms or legs, since 1959 thighs added, red or green helmet), steering wheel type 1 (2-spoke, red or green, placed on a metal shaft), decal with Ferrari emblem on the right side and on the bonnet black race number (1 to 9) on a big white circle. The box is type 2 (green with black drawing of the French artist Jean Blanche and the absence of reference). Start of production: 1958.
Colour of the 1st version: bright red.

The box is type 2 (green with black drawing of the French artist Jean Blanche and absence of reference) or type 3 (various colours depending on the model, drawing by the French artist Jean Blanche and reference on the tabs).
