ALTAYA SERIE SIMCA (vol. 66) Simca Abarth 1150 S 1963 metallic grey

With the agreement with Simca in 1963, Abarth tried to repeat the arrangement made with Fiat that had led to excellent results of image thanks to the victories of the Fiat 600 he had elaborated. In 1963 on the basis of the Simca 1000, Abarth presented 4 versions including the 1150 S. Equipped with 4 disc brakes, it differed aesthetically from the basic version for the chrome grille on its nose that concealed the radiator and showed the Abarth emblem above it and for the red band showing the writing "ABARTH SIMCA 1150" and for the rims with cooling windows and the specific cups covering the rims. The Simca Abarth 1150 S weighed 720 kg and, with an engine of 1136 cm³ which developed 58 hp, could reach 155 kph.
